Common questions first. If yours is not here, write to us.

Which prayer times does the app use?

The ones you choose. You can pick a calculation method (and your Asr ruling, high-latitude rule and small corrections), or an official timetable where one is available and its terms allow us to use it. Every time on screen names its source, for example an official zone or the calculation method.

Why are the times a minute or two different from my mosque?

Mosques often follow a local timetable or add their own margin. If yours follows a published official table, choose that source. Otherwise set the same method the mosque uses, and add a per-prayer correction of a minute or two to match it exactly.

I am in Malaysia. Which zone should I pick?

The zone codes follow JAKIM's e-Solat zones (for example SGR01 for most of Selangor). The app suggests one from your location and you can change it. Until the JAKIM timetable licence is confirmed, the app shows calculated times labelled as such.

A reminder did not fire. What can I do?

Open the reminder setup and troubleshooting checklist in the Prayers tab. It walks through the settings on your phone that can delay or drop alarms: battery optimisation, power-saving modes, notification permissions and manufacturer-specific restrictions. Phones limit what any app can do; the checklist shows what yours allows.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Prayer times, reminders, the Quran text, duas, the tasbih, the calendar and the qibla compass all work without a connection. Quran audio streams by default and can be downloaded by sura or juz for offline listening.

Do I need an account?

No. An account is optional and only syncs your settings, bookmarks, notes and tracker between devices.

How do I export or delete my data?

If you have an account, the account screen in settings exports everything as a JSON file and deletes the account with all of its data. Without an account, your data lives only on your phone and goes with the app when you uninstall it.

What does it cost?

The core app is free: prayer times, reminders, the Quran with basic audio, duas, the calendar, zakat and every accessibility feature. There are no ads. After launch there may be a one-time Supporter purchase for cosmetic extras such as themes and compass skins.

Where do the Quran text, translations and recordings come from?

Each source, its licence and whether it is cleared to ship is listed on the licences page, and the app shows the attribution for every translation and recording it includes.

When is it out?

The Android app is being built first; iOS follows once the core experience and reminder behaviour are validated on real devices. The changelog page records progress.
